Close-Ups. Ice in Grand Haven

Most of the ice has melted, however the wind finally died down a bit. One weird thing about shooting macro is after you take your eye away from the viewfinder. You spend 10 minutes looking through the viewfinder at super-macro images, focusing in and out on tiny details, then taking your eye away. Back to reality. It takes a minute to adjust. The great thing about shooting this way is that it’s just you and subject. A tiny object that you usually pass by.
All images shot in Duncan Woods, a short walk from our place.
